Moxibustion For Leukorrhea

A leukorrhea issue is mainly due to coldness in the lower part of the body. You can just do moxibustion at back Bai Huan Shu (BL30), Ci Liao (BL32) and in front Dai Mai (GB26), belly button (CV8), Guanyuan (CV4) and San Yin Jiao (SP6). Clinically, for operational convenience, I just use a wooden or bamboo moxibustion box (with short moxa rolls) and put it around the lower back/sacrum area and then around the front belly area. I will put a needle or moxa stickers at other points.

I had a client in 2019, who had leukorrhea for several years and had severe vaginal itching. She applied the antifungal medication as well as some medicine for bacterial vaginosis. But the problem went back and forth and was never really gone.

She came for sleeping and other issues. After 2 times of moxibustion, she had a bit less vaginal discharge. I simply just put a 3-hole moxibustion box on her lower back to cover several of these points. Then I put a moxibustion box on her belly to cover CV8, CV6 and CV4. The other points on the leg, I just used a needle and moxibustion stickers on SP6 and Yinbai (SP1). To make a long story short, she told me that her leukorrhea issue disappeared within 2 weeks or so.

These issues are not hard to treat.
